Backlink Building

We will use the term ?anchor text? a lot on this site. You probably already know what this means, but just in case you don’t, here’s a quick lesson. When a site links back to you, they usually use your url, or your business name, and it looks like this:

<a href=http://www.yoursitehere.com>Your Business Name</a>

[ =3,21,22]

We want to change your thinking in this. From now on, once you?ve targeted your client’s keywords, use those as anchor texts. Now it looks like this:

<a href=http://www.yoursitehere.com>Your Keyword Here</a>

This is your anchor text!
