1. This is how you Pick an Affiliate Product, OR, you can start promoting PromotingMom and skip to step three, since we’ve already completed step two for you!

2. Find a Low Competition Keyword. To find these, follow the steps in Keyword Research. Then, Google the phrases you are thinking of in quotation marks, and see how many results show up for this keyword (The number circled in red). If it is less than 1000, amazing. If it is between 1000 and 5000, that’s still good, we can teach you how to rank for those as well using Backlinks. (Video of how to do this beneath picture)

3. Write an Article and post it on GoArticles, or Squidoo. Either one of those accept Affiliate Links as a link in the post. Use the keyword you hope to rank for in the title of the article, in the keywords, and as your Anchor Text of your link. If they do not rank number one for your targeted key phrase, write another Squidoo lense, GoArticle, or Ezine Article and link back to your original article using the key phrase as an anchor text. Do this as many times as necessary to get it ranking number one. OR, you can read our backlinks post and choose any one of those methods to build backlinks to your original article using the key phrase as an anchor text.
