We want to make membership at PromotingMom something that is focused on meeting all the needs of your budding or growing businesses. Whether it be an eCommerce store, looking to make money with blogs, or checking out what affiliate marketing is all about, we are working hard to make sure we will have the right training for your business whether you are starting out, or looking to dominate your niche.
We want to hear from you! We are going to give away 2 valuable prizes to 2 lucky readers. To a “newbie” (we use that term endearingly for anyone who has not yet fully launched their business), we are offering a 30 minute 1 on 1 phone coaching session, answering your most crucial questions and offering insight on how to get your business off the ground. And to one seasoned mompreneur with an existing business of any kind, we will offer a full review of your site, making recommendations for layout changes, ideas for monetization, marketing strategies, and anything else that might help you take your business to the next level. Each prize has a value of over $150.
In order to enter the contest, we are asking everyone to submit a comment on this blog post:
- If you do not have a business yet, we’d like you to describe your dream business and what kind of training and support you will need in order to fulfill your dream business completely.
- If you have an existing business, we’d like to hear your goals for business growth and what your expectations are from a training site like PromotingMom.

Thanks for the opportunity – I would love to get a review and some tips and input on how to monetize my blog better. I’ve been working on this for a while now and I have a few things that have taken MANY months to begin to trickle in small amounts. There has to be a better way! =)

My dream business.. Wow, I’m not really sure about what exactly that would be. I would love to be able to have an income of my own while I’m still home with my children. I would love to be able to make enough to help coving my own schooling and my childrens schooling.
The help I need is just about everything. Where to start, what to do, how to decide what’s the best fit for me, how to make it successful, etc. I have no idea what to do at all, but I want to know and be able to do it well.

I have a web store already and would like to take it to the next level. For the first 6 months we have always doubled our sales, but now they are decreasing and we want to know why.
I would love a site review. I know we can do better…but I need to get out of Page 4 and into Page 1 SERPS.
My dream business would be to support my family during these lean lean times.

My dream business would be to be able to get paid to blog – that would be truly awesome! Valuable tips in this arena would be great!
I do have a business that started last year but I haven’t had the time to get my site up and running or complete taking pictures of all of my items. I just need the time to get it going and once its up I can maintain it. So much harder than I thought to getting it going with three kids and my hubbys crazy schedule. My new goal for completion in Feb 2010. For now I am selling to my friends and neighbors until I get the site completed.

I have a hand made jewelry business that is fairly new, about 3 months in. I would love to learn how to rank higher in searches and well basically to make enough sales to support my family. I know that being so new doesn’t help, but I would like to make certain that my site is running at it’s best. I would love to have my site reviewed. I’m TOTALLY lost when trying to generate business through Twitter and FaceBook and any other computer means. With Tastefully Simple, are policies are strict about advertising through certain venues, but the web seems to be open to us for now and it is definitely more cost-effective! I would also like to find out how to locate events throughout the Chicagoland area without spending hours doing so. I want to work my business, not the other way around! Thanks, Ashley.

I love twitter and would love to be able to add on some social media consulting to my existing computer business (website not quite functional yet). I would also like to open a help-yourself computer shop with a storefront in our town. I need a lot of help with marketing for both and would like to get a little $$ from my blog as well.

An online business seems a little intimidating for me at the moment, having never done anything like it. I’m VERY interested though! It’s hard to narrow down a skill-set or focus on interest/product that I’d even want to pursue specifically, much less think about marketing strategies, when it feels like the sky is the limit. I guess the convergence of my interests & my experience centers on either writing/editing or things like event organization. Turning those into any sort of inoome or marketable product is where I’m clueless!

I would love to have at least three streams of income the first of which would be to make a stable income as a blogger and be able to parlay that into more public speaking gigs.My third source stream of income would come from owning my own medical billing and coding and collections agency as I am currently a certified medical biller and coder and have returned to school for my degree in Health Information Technology.
